Is It Me or Thee, My Father? Who Is Lord Of My Life?

How can you write a blog post on the art of listening, without also providing one on the power of words?

Careless use of words brings suffering into our life.

Words are mantras or prayers to God. You are speaking

in the presence of God. Speak sweetly and with LOVE.

Paramahansa Hariharananda Giri

It is really quite profound to real eyes that every word we speak is quite literally a prayer or mantra which we are offering to God.

Imagine that.

Each and every word we utter to every single person we encounter, including ourselves, is our gift offered to the Father of Light.

These are our chosen words which we pour like honey over the Divine!

Imagine how our communication would change if we all knew that this was what we are doing in each and every moment?

If we knew that the very thoughts we think and the words which we utter were our literal offerings to the Beloved?

I don't know about you, but I am beginning to see how often I have given Divinity a bad wrap.

How about today we each make a commitment to clean up our act so we can change the world together one holy encounter at a time?
